About our school
Our Farm Enhancement Offer is a unique educational opportunity that builds on the school curriculum while celebrating the rich agricultural heritage of our local area. This immersive programme invites children to step beyond the classroom and into the heart of farming life, where they can explore a variety of working farms and gain hands-on experience in the world of agriculture.
Through guided visits and interactive learning, children discover the vital role farming plays in our community and beyond. From crop cultivation and animal care to modern agricultural practices and environmental sustainability, children will develop a deeper understanding of where their food comes from and how farmers care for the land.
This offer not only supports key curriculum areas such as science, geography, and design & technology, but also fosters curiosity, responsibility, and a lifelong appreciation for the natural world. By connecting children with the land and the people who work it, we aim to inspire the next generation and allow our children to be proud supporters of our farming heritage.
